We discovered over 25,000 artifacts during their excavations at the site of Three PNC Plaza in Pittsburgh. Buried up to 26 feet beneath the city - amidst a sea of rock, concrete and metal - were fragile hand painted dolls, gilded French urns, a sash pistol, and thousands of other unique objects. A total of 13 archaeological features dating from 1845 to 1868.

The Fairmont Hotel, located in Three PNC Plaza, named each of their hotel floors and meeting rooms after the archaeological sites we found.  Artifacts are exhibited in the Main Lobby, Business Center, and on each lobby floor.

We hope you will visit this beautiful hotel and restaurants at the corner of Liberty and Fifth Avenues to see the exhibit.
